Square top shutters are the most common however an Arch top shutter may be required when a curve top window is being covered
Shutters are avaiable in a variety of species. We always reccomend Western Red Cedar.
Shutters are available in a varity of finishes:
Widths are available in 1/8" increments
Lengths are available in 1/8" increments
Rail layouts are available in standard configurations or may be specified by placing the rail location from the bottom of the shutter to the bottom of the rail.
Louvers are available in a variety of shapes and sizes in our Design line, Standard and Heavy Duty shutters are offered with one louver size option.
Panel Type
Top rail widths may be customized for an additional charge
Botttom rail widths may be customized for an additional charge
Stile width may be customized for an additional charge
A decorative and practical option to give a unique touch as well as offer protection from the elements
A decoratve edge detail that allows the shutters to overlap when closed. Often a 3/8" bead detail is also used to highlight the edge of the shutter.
Flush sanded
Trim may be applied to one or both sides of the the shutter.
On Panel Shutters the trim is placed inside the stiles around the panel.
A decorative option, common in the New England area often refered to as Boston style horns. The side stile of the shutter runs 3/4" beyond the bottom rail.
